Terms of Use

Last updated: October 7, 2026 · Version française (fait foi)

This is an English translation of the French Terms of Use (« Conditions Générales d'Utilisation »). In case of any discrepancy, the French version prevails.

1. Purpose

These Terms of Use (the "Terms") govern access to and use of the Project Alpha mobile application (the "App"), published and operated from Switzerland. The App provides workout tracking, fitness program generation, nutrition tracking and progress tracking (photos, statistics, goals).

By creating an account or using the App, you accept these Terms without reservation. If you do not accept them, you must not use the App.

2. Registration and user account

3. Intellectual property

All elements of the App (the "Project Alpha" name, logo, interface, texts, graphics, training programs, exercise database, source code) are protected by copyright and applicable intellectual property rights, and remain the exclusive property of Project Alpha or its licensors.

No reproduction, representation, modification or exploitation, in whole or in part, of the App's content is allowed without prior written consent, except for strictly personal, non-commercial use in the normal course of using the App.

Content you upload (photos, personal data) remains your property; you grant Project Alpha a limited license strictly necessary to operate the service (storage, display in the App).

4. Acceptable use

By using the App, you agree not to:

Any breach may result in the suspension or deletion of your account.

Zero tolerance. No objectionable content or abusive behavior is tolerated (harassment, hate speech, sexual content, violence, spam). Every post, comment, message or profile can be reported from within the App (« ⋮ » menu or long press), and any user can block another: their content is no longer shown and they can no longer contact them. Reports are reviewed within 24 hours; content reported by several people is hidden pending review. Content that breaches these Terms is removed and its author may be excluded from the App.

5. Limitation of liability — Fitness and health disclaimer

Important: consult a doctor before starting any physical training program or changing your diet, especially if you have a pre-existing medical condition, are pregnant, are injured or have any doubt about your fitness. Project Alpha accepts no liability for any injury, accident or bodily harm resulting from the use of the App or from following the programs and advice it provides.

Training programs, nutrition recommendations, statistics and content provided by the App — including those generated by the AI Coach, the 12-week program and the meal plan, which rely on a third-party artificial intelligence model (see our Privacy Policy) — are general suggestions for information and sports purposes only and are in no way medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. They do not replace the opinion of a qualified health professional.

You use the App at your own risk. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Project Alpha shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damage resulting from the use of, or inability to use, the App.

6. Account termination

7. Changes to the Terms

Project Alpha may change these Terms at any time, in particular to reflect legal, technical or functional changes to the App. Users will be informed of any material change in the App or by email. Continued use of the App after notification constitutes acceptance of the amended Terms.

8. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Swiss law, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute relating to their interpretation or performance falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Swiss courts at the publisher's registered office, subject to mandatory consumer protection provisions applicable in the user's country of residence.

9. Apps downloaded from the Apple App Store

If you downloaded the App from the Apple App Store, these Terms are concluded between you and Project Alpha only, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content, has no obligation to provide maintenance or support, and is not responsible for addressing any claim relating to the App. In-app subscriptions are billed and managed by Apple under the Apple Media Services Terms. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
